Two Stories BH With Open Roof !!!

If you are new in swiftlet farming and wanted to build your first dream BH try to consider minimizing your risk by going for a two stories than a three.

Normally a two stories building will cut your cost by about 1/3 (roughly).

Example:  If you go for three stories you need to fork out at least 350K but a two stories might be just around 220K plus minus.  Keep the different, 130K,  in your bank for your next expansion of the same BH or perhaps look for another piece of agricultural land.

Remember 80% of any new BH will have difficulties to get a reasonable occupant in 12 months.  Even occupied only a handful especially when your knowledge is very little.

So you need to minimize your risks and learn as much as you can from Pak Harry on how to use those top notched external and internal sounds, those VIP rooms construction and the natural and unnatural aromas. Attend his seminar regularly and visit as many BHs as you can.

Once you mastered the art of swiftlet farming than you look at your second BH.  This time you can look at going bigger like a 3 stories with 5 stars BH.

If you are not the ego type stick to this 2 stories design all the way.  When you two stories are getting the right tenancies growth every month (10-15% a month)  you can now look at expanding the building to perhaps one more, the same size, to be located on the right or left side of the current building. Use the same entrance hole but you open the wall in between.

Be smart and try to minimize your exposure. Remember you are new in swiftlet farming and you are using your family's saving and you cannot effort to loose your saving too much.

Those who believed in my idea should try this two stories BH design that I came out with.  My draftsman got the drawings up and I would like my blog readers (newbies) to opt for this.

It will be the most cost effective and suitable for those who wanted to start a BH on their agricultural land or perhaps inside an orchard.

The entry type is "Top Entry" with proper roving areas and precise LAL location.  A small water pool is made available just beside the entrance hole.  The roof are made with 1 meter wider to shade the wall of the building from the hot sun. The gap between the zinc roof and the building surface allows air to pass through cooling the gap in between.

All you need is to place the VIP rooms at the correct position at the back of the upper floor plus two more at the lower floors.

It is a perfect choice for those that have low budget or wanted to try small and learn as much as you can before going big.

Remember you have Pak Harry to guide you with the right internal designs, perfect sound system and various new sounds from his sound library.

A complete set of drawing is affordable and only cost RM 600 but if you wanted the 3D drawings you need to add RM 300 more. It is not an Architect Drawing but Draftsman's Drawing. Architect Drawing will be about RM5,000.

Got a three stories BH drawings too and the cost the same.
