Edible Birdnest farming can be considered an ideal, most exciting and a very lucrative business. This venture is suitable for those who live in parts of Cambodia, Southern Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippine and Indonesia. This blog is dedicated to my findings, crazy ideas, encounters with newbies, comments from friends, local news, pictures relevant to Birdnest plus my personal experiences and knowledge gained in swiftlet farming.

All Goes Well In Kuala Trengganu and Kuala Kerai !!!
Dear all,
I have just landed at home after a gruelling 8 hours trip from Kuala Trengganu up to Jertih and up to Kuala Kerai down to Gua Musang then to Raub and then Bentong and lastly KLumpur.
Have a bit of back ache and need to take a short rest.
So sorry for not being able to write for the past few days.
The trip was pretty good. Visited (internal) four birdhouses in Kuala Trengganu and one in Kuala Kerai.
Lots of beautiful pictures and lots of fun. Climb on the rooftop of a shophouse and nearly slipped into a LAL.
Got two interesting tips from a BH owner who have more then 500 nests in his BH.
Will load those pictures and share with all my beloved blog readers soon.
The GAHP seminar at Trengganu Equestrian and Country Club went well with about 25 enthusiasts. I was given the last slot to cover the "How to Own and Manage a successful Birdhouse". Managed to finish on time (1 hour) and lots of enquiries on the topics covered.
Met a specialist who knows how to operate the Ultrasonic Sound Converter. Have a long chat with him on how to use the product effectively. With this new guidelines, I will arrange to try the unit during my next trip hope to SPatani (May 17th 2008weekend.
Managed to buy a kilogram of raw birdnest KT originated. They looks pretty white and clean. Need to process them before getting a buyer for it.
Conducted a Birdcall Test in KT around Kampung China. Dr Reduan and Gang were very impressed. He thank me for the arrangement and at the some time promised to ensure that I will be officially listed as his future GAHP Seminar.
In Kuala Kerai, met the owner of a sizable birdhouse built beside his bungalow house. Interesting. The BH was five stories and about 40' by 70 feet. The BH was about 10 meters from his house and about to be completed. Inspected the BH and the unit was specially designed ventilation and water draining system around the BH walls that I have never seen before.
Overall the trip was wonderfull and full of activities that gives me the opportunity to take lots of photo which I promise to load as many as I can onto my blog.
I just want all of you to enjoy the beautiful pictures take.
Have a good day and sorry again for not writing for the last three days......

Well we tried Duress at my land yesterday, I think the time is not right or the car system is not that good. But this morning I tried it in front of my house along the highway, and I cannot believe my eyes, less than I minute not less than 3-500s arrived. All my neighbours thought we were raided!Anyway I will post the clip for you later. Thanks again. Nice knowing you. Regards to Mr Ong also.
