A BH With Lightning Arrestor !!!

Yesterday I was in Tangkak, Johor to meet someone who happened to be one of my long time blog reader.

He wanted to let me test some new sounds and collect some aroma that he collected for me.

At the location where the aroma was stored there was a newly completed BH in operation.

I quickly snapped some pictures for my blog.

These are some interesting observations made:

1) The BH uses a top entry with side entries too all at one place.  It looks very odd but it might works if the sound played is proper.  What the owner did was to create the top entry hole at the front of the building but on the walls opened as many side entrance holes as possible.  To be exact one side entry on every wall (3 walls).  Have a look at the picture.

2) He placed two hexagonal tweeters on the roof.  One around the top entrance area and the other somewhere in the middle.

3) One of the most interesting was the installation of a steel rod somewhere closed to the to entry and I believed it was a lightning arrestor. Now days the lightning are very common and it is time for him to protect his audio equipment to the max.

Enjoy some of the pictures taken and you might learn something.
