Many people think that in swiftlet farming you only make money from those precious nests.
I disagree. There are so many other things that you get that can be turned into a good income.
The best is to sell the bird shits. Now it is selling at about 15 ringgit a kilo.
How about those eggs. I understand swiftlet eggs are more expensive as compared to duck or chicken eggs. They age going for 1 rm per egg.
Then we have those recycle fake nests. Yes if you install those fake nests and they were used by your tenants, you can actually harvest them and sell at a good price. People are willing to buy for rm 150 per fake nest (used one).
What about birds feathers?
You might think that I am crazy but if you have some artistic talent you might want to consider to paint the feathers and sell it to those tourist who visit your BH.
