How To Keep Those BH External Sound Stays Fresh & Effective !!!

 

"Pak Harry, I need your advise on how to keep those external sound stays fresh and effective.  Right now most of my external sounds will stay effective for only a few weeks and some time even a few days after installation."

This question is very common and I am sure you too will be facing  the same problem.

We human being cannot understand the reason why these wild birds tends to stop liking a sound but if we analyze our self we human behave almost the same. Just look at those music played on your radio. You notice that every week there will be a new hit sound being played.  Once the listeners got tired of it a new sound will replace the old good sounds.

If we behave this way, then those birds will or might behave the same !!!

The same goes with those swiftlet.  They will get bored easily and pretty fast if you keep playing the same sound day in and day out.

What do you think we can do about it?

The best answer which most of you, my blog readers, will think is call Pak Harry and ask for his latest sound.

If you should purchased a new sound from me and installed the next day, it will behave the same. Some will last for weeks but many will last for only a few days.

If I were you, I will crack my head and find a method to make those sounds played to last longer and stays effetive.

You need to think of a way that perhaps will automate the sound played by using some new gadgets or setting in sequence and etc.

Most of you will be so dependent on your so called "Consultant" or "Sifu" and refuse to use your own brain to do something.  "Oh I leave it to my Sifu to do this and that."

Remember you poured in the money and the BH is yours.  You should be the one who will do everything that you can to populate your BH.

I guarantee you that most of your "Sifu" will be too busy to help you to populate your BH.  Trust me !!!


Okay now let me tell you something that I know on how to keep those external sounds stays fresh for a long time.

So you can now use Pak Harry's Brain....

Idea No 1:

The best is to play your most effective sound only at a specific time of the day.  Say from 6:00pm till 8:00pm.  The rest of the time you play a less effective or grade B sound.

If you choose this method you need to use two sounds amplifiers.  One with the effective sound and the other with the less effective sound.

You will also need to deploy a auto-changer with a digital timer.

Idea No 2:

If you wish to use this technique you have to be brave enough to download a sound audit software.  My preferred software is the wave-pad.  It is free and you can just use  Google Search and download into your program folder.

Once you have this free sound audit software you can now edit all those sounds that you wish to play in one day.

First is to choose which sounds you wish to put them togather in a sequence.

The next move is to edit all those selected sounds into a proper playing time length.  Good example each sound will be able to continuously played for either half an hour, one full hour and one and half hours.

You now need to chart which sound shall be played at what time of the day.  Once you have the proper list with accurate time you now copy and paste the selected sound into your thumb drive.  Arrange them properly and rename them using numbers.

Once you complete test them using an amplifier and trace the sound if they follow the sequence you wanted.

If they are then you can install in your BH,

Idea No 3:

This idea is to use a gadget called "sound changer".  This specially designed gadget gives you the opportunity to deploy six different external sounds to be played in accordance to your preferred timing.

The timing  will be dependent on the normal digital timer that are commonly used in switching on your humidifiers or amplifiers.

First you need to select six best external sounds from your sound library.

You can than copy these sounds onto six separate thumb drives.  Test them and make sure there are okay.

Plug them onto the thumb drive holder or slots.

You can now plug the power and the male connector to your BH external sound amplifiers.

Go to the digital timer and set the timing that you wanted to change the sound based on one of the programs that are set in this common digital timer.

How about once a week on Monday at 9:00 am.


The three above can be of great helps in ensuring that those external sounds are always fresh and effective.
