Two days ago I was in Setiawan, Perak.
My objective was to clear my mind on a few queries that I received about the effectiveness of those soundless humidifiers.
I was very lucky to meet two prominent BH owners both have enough experiences to share their with me.
The first owned about four BHs in Ayer Tawar and one of the unit was declared to be the 2nd most successful BH there.
His explanation was as follows:
"Harry I can safely said that for my BH in Ayer Tawar the total nests increased was 600 pieces within less then three months after using about 8 units of the soundless humidifiers. Never happened before and I am also baffled why such a huge increase.
Due to the phenomenal increase I am going ahead with the extension works on the lower floor. I am afraid the unit above will be to the maximum within the next few months."
The second person owned not less then 10 BHs in Perak.
His answer was:
"Since all my BHs are old, I can only says that the soundless humidifiers have a very high impact on all my BHs nests population. I recently harvested those old dirty looking nests and the new one seems to be showing a very strange happenings . All the BH floors were full of those white shits. Never before such number of white bird shits on the floor. I believed the cooling effect of the new humidifiers plus dust free air environment attract more birds from my neighbors to move in.
I will be able to gauge the exact increase once the nests are fully formed. Right now I am upgrading all my BHs with this new humidifiers."
"Harry I really wonder where those new birds are coming from. At the current rate our neighbors will have difficulties to keep their birds from moving into our BHs."
Based on the above two answers I can safely conclude that the nests population will increase at a phenomenal rate. Both indicated a substential growth but I need to do more interview with more users.
What about a newly build BHs??
I have yet to get the proper answers. Give me a bit more time and I am sure the answer will towards the same direction.

Hi Harry,
Thanks to your infor sharing...
I do felt that the soundless humidifiers has its hidden risk to the BH. I myself has experience on it.
1. the inlet piping valve can easily loose-off if water pressure is high-3 bar or more.( using water source direct from tangki somehow the water just cant automaticaly refilling)
2.If water pressure is low, the refilling process is slow and sometime cause the overflow valve malfunction... so water leakage cause flooding in BH.
3. the original power supply wire is not very long thus most of us would extend it to suit our BH nearest power point. pls make sure the reconection point is place above floor lever b'coz it is very dangerous when ur BH is flooding and current is yet to supply due to timmer still in off position.
above is my experience while trying the soundless humidifier pls consider it as Things to check especially its concern to our safety.
