Edible Birdnest farming can be considered an ideal, most exciting and a very lucrative business. This venture is suitable for those who live in parts of Cambodia, Southern Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippine and Indonesia. This blog is dedicated to my findings, crazy ideas, encounters with newbies, comments from friends, local news, pictures relevant to Birdnest plus my personal experiences and knowledge gained in swiftlet farming.

Eco-Park In Kampung Sedili Kecil, Johor
Among the many things that I was invited to see was this new swiftlet farming Eco-Park under construction at Kampung Sedili Kechil, Johor.
The land area was about 5 acres located about 10 minutes drive from Pekan Sedili, Johor to the south.
Mr.T was very proud with this special project and he would like myself to make a short announcement in my blog.
"Pak Harry, who knows maybe some of your blog readers are interested to own one unit."
Phase one of 20 units were totally taken up, mainly by his close friends.
Phase two will be another 20 and still available. One unit of about 25 feet by 75 feet four stories high is going for RM800,000. The cost is all inclusive i.e. the cost include the building complete with the nesting planks, sound system and maintenance of about 6 months.
The owner guarantees of 100 nests within 12 months after putting it into operation or money back.
Have a look at the various pictures taken while I was at site.
There were a few lorries sending those piling beams and lots of workers constructing the office and place to stay.
A piling machine was in full steam piling those piles.
Worker were also busy preparing those steel frames.
