Which Sound Is More Important: External Or Internal ???

"Pak Harry, between the two, external and internal, which sound will be more important?"

Today I was invited by Mr.E to inspect a property which he recently bought in Tanjong Malim, Perak.

He wanted to DIY but with someone to guide him on what he should do.

I was given the first choice and I am very glad that at least he recognised the important of making sure that his first dream BH will not fail.

We met at Jejantas Sungai Buluh and proceeded to view the worn down buildings outskirt of Tanjung Malim.

Hmm..... not a bad place. I remembered conducting a bird call test at the same area for a group of Indian friends but until today they did not responded.

The building looks good however the shape was a bit unusual for a birdhouse.

After more then 45 minutes, managed to provide Mr.E with the necessary sketch on where to place the entrance hole, the roving area, the opening to the nesting rooms, the LAL location, the partitioning to be built and etc.

He was very happy with the outcome and keep asking so many questions that can clear his mind on this new project.

Among so many that he asked this special question make me wanting to quote in this article:

"Pak Harry, between the two sounds, external and internal, which one is the most important?"

My answer to him was: Mr.E both are important and each have their specific functions.

The external is very crucial to bring the birds above your BH and draw them into the house. If you place those external sound tweeters at the right locations, you will be able to bring those birds right to the back of the nesting rooms.

The internal sound will take over the function just at the end of the day when the external sound were terminated. Yes they become important immediately after the external sound stop playing.

If you consider the two, I will choose the external as my first priority then the internal sound.

In view of that I recommend you place two tweeters at every location that you play the external sound. This action will help in case one malfunction or dead and the other will keep playing those soothing sound.

In case of dead tweeters (malfunction) you must take care of the external sound tweeters first. Get them change as soon as you can.

The internal sound tweeters, since there are many of them, can be your second priority.
