So You Think That The Mukah Massacre Were Cruel ????

Many months ago we saw those horror pictures posted on the Internet about how a Governmnet Dapartment in Sarawak massacre those young swiftlet chicks in Mukah.

We feel so sad and believed that all animals should be treated with respect especially when they are classified as endangered species.

They should at least be more humane and treat those young babies with respects.

During one of those meetings with Jabatan Perangchangan Bandar dan Desa (JPBD, discussing about guideline for swiftlet industries, I voiced my concern on this matter.

I also proposed that the Veterinary Depart set a division where a team of trained workers to handle closure of any BH.

I told the committee if they wanted to avoid harming those young babies, this department should take over the management of the affected BH and those birds shall be removed in accordance to the best practise and not killing or harming those young chicks.

However today I stumbled into this sad stories about how young chicken chicks are sorted and massacre in an incubation factory in America.

Please view this video clip:

This clips seem to favor only female chicks. Male chicks are usually massacre by dumping them into a screw conveyor.

So sad to be a male chicks in the chicken industry !!!! He he he
