Back To SPatani For The Weekend !!!
Not that good this week.
Wife's uncle passed away, so decided to drive up to pay our last respect to him.
In the mean time need to rush to Merbok to attend the Birdcall test with a Newbie.
Reached SPatani at 5.30pm. Drop my wife at her mom's house and straight to Merbok. Newbie was with her hubby and dad. Got one of my Sifu to be there to do the birdcall test.
The newbie has two pieces of agriculture land located, 1.5 acres each, around Merbok.
Saw the test conducted on the first land located in the middle of the Padi Field. A very nice piece of land but the problem is that the land is situated very far way from electricity and water supply.
The test went very well. After activating the sound birds from a far congrugate above the tweeters. More keep coming. But for about a few minutes they seem to fly higher.
This makes us change the sound to another disc. This time just after a few minutes there were almost 600 birds flying around the tweeters and some wanted to enter the car. This test result is beautiful however the location is not suitable since the nearest electrical pole is 3 kilometers away.
We then moved to another piece of land about 5 kilometers away. Since the sky was getting darker we rushed and managed to to the test.
This piece of land is situated just beside the road and there was an old house, abandoned, with electrical and water ready to be used.
We played the sound for about 10 minutes and thou the sky was getting dark there were at least 200 birds that responded to the test.
This seem to be much better and practical.
The idea now is to build a 2 1/2 stories high 20'X 70'. Cost might be in the region of RM200K to RM250K complete with all necessary swiftlets sound systems and nesting materials plus humidifier equipment.
I was asked to prepare a paper for submission to the bank if there is no investor to come in.
