Let Us Know More About Termite !!!

Ever since I visited Mr. Y birdhouse at Port Klang, that was last week, my mind is so disturbed over those white creatures, the TERMITES. The damaged done to those nesting planks are costly.

I keep thinking how unfortunate it will be if it happened to me. What about if it happened to my blog readers?

If their houses are infested with these creatures it will be doom. Not exactly that, but at least they will know what to do. My advice is “Don’t panic but don't wait for it to go away. You need to take immediate action."

If they can effort, the best is to get professional exterminator. Before that they must quickly get to know more about termites, their habits and how to prevent them from entering your birdhouse and so on.

Remember they are very fond of chewing away wood. Your birdhouse has lots of wood on the ceiling of course.

Due to this reason I have decided to put some time to collect as many information as possible about termites and perhaps looks at various methods on how to keep them away.

So readers please enjoy this article (coming more) on what are termites? How it destroys your birdhouse or your home plus how can we prevent them from coming.

This "you-tube video", I think, is one of the best video clip that will tell you how smart are these white creatures. They were taken in Africa and shown on National Geographic.

To make you glued to your computer chair, how about this next video? This clip shows the exact sequence of events on how termites chips away your nesting panel. See how disciplined they are in carrying out their job. They nibble one tiny piece of wood, immediately reverse backward and immediately the next in line will come in to do exactly the same. Wonderful Clip......

During rainy season I remembered watching flying termites coming out of their nests and perform their duties to multiply. They will fly away from their home, shed their wings, mate and start a new colony. Just imagine millions per year??

It was mentioned somewhere that in America, termites destroys more buildings as compared to those destroyed by cyclones, floods and hurricane (in total). So you can imagine how bad they are for your precious nesting panel?
