Three Into One BH AirCool Gadget Called CoolFan !!!
If your BH is constantly facing high temperature problem, that is nothing unusual.
Currently the hot spell is making live difficult not only to us but also our BH.
During my trip to Alor Star, Kedah, I was introduced to a beautiful gadget (CoolFan) that served as follows:
1) To cool down the temperature in your BH.
2) To humidify your BH.
3) To blow those eroma into the house.
The unit is a DIY item that is very simple to make but you need to assemble using the followings:
a) A plactic container ( 1.5 feet X 2 feet X 3 feet high) with tight cap.
b) An exhaust fan.
c) A mini water pump
d) A piece of plastic wool (plastic wool used to filter your house water tank or pond).
e) Some plastic mesh to cover the air exit hole and to hold the plastic wool where the fan will blow.
f) A plastic tray to cover the exhaust fan blade.
g) Water float valve (like your toiler bowl float valve system).
Basically once you assemble the system you pipe in water from the storage tank into the plastic container.
The plastic wool is dipped at one of its end and due to capillary action will move the water upward. The exahust fan will blow onto the wool and the air after passing a wet piece of wool will be filled with those cool water.
U can also place a container of aroma laced chemical, example feace powder, at the back of the contained where the air intake takes place. With this configuration you actually put three into one actions. The aroma blower, a cooler and a humidifier.
The designer is currently looking at placing a cooling plate(chilled water from your fridge) that can cool the water to 8*C. If that happen you actually can control your room temperture to what you desired. U need to watch out your monthly electricity bill (warning).
Each floor you may install about two units.
Currently the cost is about RM 550 excluding delivery.
Interesting and who say that you cannot control your BH room temperature????

Dear Harry, thanks for sharing this cheap and practical concept of regulating the temp. & RH of the BH.
In your article you listed all the components and the ways they are installed but you missed out on the mini water pump. What is the mini water pump for? Thank you again for sharing.

Ecling,
Sorry for not mentioning about the mini pump. The mini pump is used to suck the water up and drop onto the water in the container to make those soothing sound dropping.
Is that okay?
Thanks Harry really appreciated your contributions and advice.
