I am of the opinion that this BH is the most Eco friendly in the whole of Malaysia.
The owner seem to be very proud of the green colored rubber paint he uses (Jotun).
I managed to drop by for a short viewing externally.
The BH was built at the back portion of this owner in his orchard about 20 feet away from his house back gate.
Main reason he said was to be able to sit down in the evening and count the number of birds entering his BH every evening.
He took two years to decide in heaving the BH build. The first time that strikes him was when he visited his friend in Indonesia. The friend told him about his success and never turned back.
After two years plus lots of research he finally find the right "sifu" to built the BH.
Lower part of the house he uses two layered clay bricks while the upper lever he uses those low density bricks.
After 3 months the number of birds entering have reaches more then 40 birds.
I told him to continue monitoring and in the event the number stack to show negative signs he need to call someone for help.
