Today after taking care of my good buddy from Sungai Rambai, Melaka, I managed to drive down to Muar to meet Mr.T.
He wanted me to take a good look at the BH he owned and see if I can find a buyer.
The birdhouse is in the outskirt of Muar Town with the following points to be aware:
1) Two stories building in a row of four shop houses.
2) Three of the four units were converted and all the three are doing well.
3) The BH for sale have approximately about 370 nests.
4) The birdhouse dimension is 20' X 70'.
5) Most of the nests are on the upper floor.
6) Entrance hole type is open roof.
7) At the back of the shop house there are some residential houses but the sound emitted by the BH is very low.
8) The house have a very big potential of multiplying its tenants. Based on 1400 X 2 floors = 2800 square feet. Less say 400 square feet for roving and staircase, there are still 2400 square feet for nesting. Each area can cater for say 7 nests. This will gives about 16,800 nests. Now only 370 nests.
