Temperature And Humidity Logger !!!

Most birdhouse owner do know that the best humidity and temperature range should be:

Relative Humidity: 85% to 95%.

Temperature: 26*C to 29*C.

Both are critical in ensuring that those nests are well built and they stay moist and not brittle.

How do you monitor the actual temperature and humidity?

Some people uses this gadget call Digital Humidity and Temperature sensor indicator. It have the ability to detect the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity and what time they happened.

Some BHs I visited prefer to use the conventional thermometer that still runs on Mercury.

What will be the best equipment for a more precise temperature and humidity monitoring?

My answer comes from a special friend who happened to attend one of those GAHP seminar conducted in Malacca. His name is Mr.G and he sent to me these special photographs which looks like a pen but it is a Data Logger (DL).

According to Mr.G, once you set the DL, using your computer, it will record every few seconds of both the temperature and humidity for more then one month.

When you are sure of wanting the result you can now remove the DL and hook it to the PC to download the data captured.

The result can be graphically printer showing you the exact movement of the two characteristic of your BH.

Hmmm very interesting and very informative.

I have not purchased one but I think this is the most logical equipment that you should have if you are really keen to know the exact situation of your precious BH. If you know exactly when those temperatures are giving problem, you can now pinpoint the exact time of the day thus allowing you to make the necessary arrangements, like starting your humidifiers, to combat the temperature problem.

Hope you like this new equipment. The cost is around RM 500. I need at least one week to get them sent to your house.....

The product specification is available in PDF format. If you are keen to have a copy kindly email Harry for it and it is Free Of Charge.
