Just one call that caused me to stop along a busy road to explain on the how to use those Aromas.
"Harry, when is the best time to apply the BH Aroma? It is during a rainy day?"
Wow, what a question. Why must it be on a rainy day?
Madam, if I were you, I will first prepare a plan on how to increase the BH population. Say I want to have a total of 500 nests within the next 12 months period.
One of the many activities is to apply various aroma on a pre scheduled basis.
The first is the Aroma on those floors.
Two types of aroma: fresh birdshits and the faeces powder. Both can be purchase from regular suppliers and put them into containers and place them on the BH floors.
The bird shits might last for 6 months while faeces powder about three months
The second is the Aroma for those walls.
You should apply them on a predetermined date every month. Say you choose the 25th of every month. So be it. Every 25th you need to apply them on the wall about 50 cm below the wooden planks. Make sure the aroma does not touch those wooden planks.
Make sure the aroma are properly mixed with water. If too thick the birds might not like it.
You might need to stop those music for 24 hours.
What about Aroma on the Wooden Planks?
This is a bit delicate and you need to be very careful not to breed mold on them.
There are a few aromas but the best is duck eggs and perhaps close2you.
The duck egg is simple and you should apply them to a few spots for trial purposes.
The close2you is something that you might want to try but not too much. You may spray them on the perimeter of the entrance hole and those doors leading to the nesting room and the roving room.
Try not to put too much on the wooden planks. Maybe apply with a thin brush. The best is to apply it onto a piece of triagular shape wood and let them dry properly. Once dried you need to nail the wood onto the wooden planks.
Try to continue applying these aroma deligently until your target of 500 nests are met. After you have reached the target you can either continue or stop the application.
I hope you have a good day Madam and should you have any question just give me a call.
